Through interviews with experts and a smoker trying to quit, this video looks at the reasons why the LGBT community smokes so much and what can be done about it.

Research shows that lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the U.S. use tobacco at much higher rates. Why do LGBT Americans smoke so much, and what initiatives have succeeded in reducing LGBT tobacco use? Legacy and HRC hosted a panel discussion on December 11, 2012 exploring these questions and more as Legacy released a new report, Tobacco Control in LGBT Communities.
