Legacy engages policymakers and stakeholders through the regulatory process and educational outreach via briefings, presentations and other events to highlight the state of tobacco use today and the most effective ways to reduce tobacco-related death and disease.

We collaborate with the US Food and Drug Administration’s new Center for Tobacco Products to encourage a regulatory framework that includes rigorous oversight, monitoring and enforcement of the tobacco industry. We also provide expertise and guidance to multiple other federal agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Institutes of Health.

Legacy's Public Comments
